- A successful and growing networking company has a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Taipei.

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for a range of technical tasks.
Key responsibilities:
? Follow product layout and assembly definition, design mechanical assemblies and components using ProEngineer 3D modelling
? Work closely with electronics/system design engineers to ensure products meet target specifications
? Prepare mechanical engineering documents, such as BOM, component specifications and technical reports, and support FMEA activities
? Draft mechanical drawings and ensure the accuracy and quality
? Independently analyse, verify mechanical design and solve technical problems using scientific approaches, such as mathematics, physics, prototype, tolerance analysis, CAE, FEM, simulations, and DOE.
? Prepare test plan, carry out experiment and draw conclusion for engineering experiments
? Make sound suggestions based on technical findings and task requirements
? Design fixture and calibration system for mechanical assemblies
? Support cost reduction and continuous improvements of product and process
? Support product compliance certification activities
? Carry out component dimension inspection
? Track tooling fabrication process

- Key requirements:
- ? University degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronics engineering
- ? Good understanding in mechanical design using CAD solid and sheet metal modelling
- ? Knowledge in IT/Server/PC system would be an advantage
- ? Good in mathematical modelling and calculation. Knowledge in analysing tool such as FEM, MATLAB, tolerance stack-up analysis etc.
- ? Basic knowledge in material properties and selection, and manufacturing processes
- ? Knowledge in design drafting and geometric tolerance
- ? Frequent travel to manufacturing facilities in Guangdong, PRC, suppliers and customers’ site
